Basic Daily Routine

  • Wake up 9:00AM

    • No later than 10:30AM​

  • Take ​them outside to eat and use the restroom 

    • Pick up stool from the day before

      • Make sure to make a habit of picking up the stool every morning while the Cani is eating​

    • If you can try to train your pup to go to the bathroom on command or in a specific area​

  • If you have your pup on a raw diet begin to prep their dinner​

    • Defrost meant​

    • Precut fruit/veggies

    • etc

  • Feed your dog dinner around 7:00PM​

  • Bring them inside around 8:00PM or give them at least an hours to digest their food before bringing them inside

    • No later than 8:30PM​

  • Prepare their breakfast if they are on a raw diet​

Notes

  • Schedule can of course be altered to fit your schedule, if you have to wake up earlier or go to bed earlier

    • Just try to evenly space meals​

      • Cane Corsos generally only need 2-1 meals per day​

  • Walks should be done at LEAST 2 times a week​​

    • Socialization and leash training is crucial to a Cani's temperament​

    • Midday or morning walks are best because of temperature

  • Raw meal prep is important

    • Prep dinner after you feed breakfast

    • Prep breakfast after you feed dinner ​​

  • Schedules are different for everyone but try to carve out 30-60 minutes of training everyday or every other day

    • Consistency is key to owning a Cane Corso ​​​

  • Before you let your Cani inside, brush them down to get rid of loose dirt and grime\​

    • A firm bristle brush is best suited for their coat​

Owning a Cani take commitment and consistency, this is a good rough outline of how to care for your Cani. It takes getting used to and looks like a lot but it will become second nature
